Her thesis was named “The Effects of Humanistic Activities on the Affective Domain of the Learners in English Language Classes.” She worked as an English instructor at numerous institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education between 2005 and 2019. The Foreign Languages Department of Samsun University recruited her as a lecturer in 2019. She continues her education (PhD) in the English Language Education Department at Ondokuz Mayıs University. She keeps up with her academic pursuits and publishes on both national and international stages.

His master’s thesis was on the discovery of female football players’ gender identity construction from the aspect of Borudieu’s cultural capital, investment and habitus phenomena. He was an ERASMUS student  at the University of Milan Bicocca in 2009. During his 17 year long career, he worked at tertiary level and in the private sector in a variety of roles and titles ranging from academic coordinator to exam developer. He has been an academic at Samsun University’s Foreign Languages Department since 2020. Among his publications is “Profiling Property Criminals”, in an SSCI Journal. As part of his Ph.D. education at Bahçeşehir University ELT, he is carrying out  studies on working memory (WM), cognition, mentorship in in-service teacher education, vocational  identity construction, educational technologies in SLA, gamification, English as a Lingua Franca (ELF).
